1C-Bitrix Announces Higher License Renewal Fees Starting January 2026

The developers behind 1C-Bitrix have disclosed updated pricing for license renewals, set to take effect on January 1, 2026. The adjustment applies across all major editions of the CMS and marks the first broad price revision in several years.

What Changes in January

According to the company, renewal prices had remained unchanged for roughly three years. From the start of 2026, they will increase by 14–15%, depending on the edition. The explanation follows a familiar industry script: ongoing development, security improvements, and infrastructure maintenance rarely get cheaper with time.

Below is a breakdown of the current and upcoming renewal prices. Alongside the amounts in Russian rubles, approximate equivalents in US dollars are provided, calculated at an exchange rate of about ₽90 per $1.

A Bit of Context, Minus the Drama

The increase affects license renewals only, not initial purchases. Within the enterprise CMS market, this looks fairly predictable: when prices stay frozen for years, the next update usually arrives with noticeable weight. On higher-tier editions, that weight is measured not only in percentages, but also in extra digits on the invoice.

One additional detail worth noting: until the end of 2025, renewals remain available at the current rates, while new license purchases during this period may come with discounts reportedly reaching up to 25%. From January 2026 onward, the updated pricing will take full effect—without surprises, but also without nostalgia for the old numbers.
