
YaColo·NET has informed existing customers and those merely keeping an eye on the service about a set of changes scheduled to take effect in January 2026. The update affects both promotional mechanics and pricing for the company’s so-called “lifetime” servers.
This is less a dramatic pivot than a routine clean-up: features that failed to gain traction are being retired, while long-term products are adjusted to better reflect economic reality.
Cashback Promotion Quietly Bowing Out
From the start of 2026, YaColo·NET will discontinue its balance top-up cashback program, which had been running for nearly a year and a half. On paper, the offer looked generous enough to deserve a second glance:

“Lifetime” Servers to See a Price Increase
The second change concerns a price increase for “lifetime” virtual servers, also effective from January. YaColo·NET has not provided a detailed explanation, but in hosting this usually points to familiar factors: infrastructure costs, long-term support obligations, and the simple fact that providers are rarely eager to oversell services that generate no recurring revenue.
For context, a “lifetime” server is a plan where a client pays once, with no monthly fees thereafter. YaColo·NET currently offers a wide range of such virtual server configurations starting at ₽20,000 (around $255), hosted in Germany, the Netherlands, and Russia.
The company’s portfolio also includes “lifetime” dedicated servers in the same locations, with entry prices beginning at ₽150,000 (approximately $1,900). These are clearly aimed at long-term planners rather than impulse buyers.
