Fotbo Adds Germany to Its VPS Map with a New Frankfurt Location

Hosting provider Fotbo has launched virtual private servers in a new European location — Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The German site becomes the company’s third VPS location after the Netherlands and Poland, making Fotbo’s European footprint a little broader and a little less shy.

A New Data Center in Frankfurt

The new VPS instances are hosted at the CloudKleyer data center in Frankfurt, a Tier III facility with a stated 99.99% uptime level. The site is certified under ISO/IEC 27001, Trust in Cloud, and DE-CIX, and it is directly connected to DE-CIX itself. In practice, this means fewer network detours on the way to major European backbones and a more predictable ride for traffic.

The German location also provides dedicated IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and is backed by 24/7 technical support. In other words, it delivers the standard expectations of a modern European data center, without the need to hunt for footnotes.

Plans and Configurations

Pricing in Germany follows Fotbo’s existing VPS lineup. The entry-level R-START plan includes 1 vCPU, 2.5 GB of RAM, and 15 GB of NVMe storage for €4.8 per month. At the other end of the scale, customers can choose configurations with up to 24 vCPU, 60 GB of RAM, and 420 GB of NVMe for more demanding workloads that have outgrown modest virtual machines.

With Frankfurt added to the list, Fotbo now operates VPS locations in the Netherlands, Poland, and Germany, turning its European infrastructure into a small but well-connected triangle — with Frankfurt clearly positioned as the most network-heavy corner of it.
