QWINS Expands Its Cloud Footprint With a New Sweden Location

The geography of cloud infrastructure has just shifted slightly north. Hosting provider QWINS has announced the launch of a new cloud server location in Sweden, adding a Scandinavian address to its growing European map.

The new Swedish location is aimed primarily at European users who prefer shorter network routes and fewer surprises on the way. Being placed in Northern Europe, the site is designed to deliver low latency for regional audiences, along with a stable connection and infrastructure suitable for projects that range from modest workloads to decidedly serious ones.

Hardware, Network, and the Usual Things That Actually Matter

At the core of the new location are servers powered by AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processors. High clock speeds make these machines a natural fit for tasks that tend to expose weak hardware quickly: virtualization, game servers, high-traffic web services, databases, rendering, and large-scale data processing.

Networking is provided at speeds of up to 1 Gbps, allowing services to operate without the kind of slowdowns that usually appear at the most inconvenient moments. Storage is based on NVMe SSDs, focusing on low latency and fast I/O rather than patience training for administrators.

The infrastructure itself follows a familiar but necessary checklist: full redundancy for critical systems, multiple independent power supply circuits, 24/7 monitoring and physical security, multi-level access control, modern fire suppression, and climate control systems. In short, nothing exotic — and that is precisely the point.

Prices Without a Quest Line

The entry-level promotional plan in the Swedish location starts at $3 per month. It includes:

  • 1 vCPU based on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

  • 1 GB DDR4 RAM

  • 10 GB NVMe SSD storage

  • Network speed up to 100 Mbps

  • 1 IPv4 address and /64 IPv6

  • DDoS protection up to 2 Tbps

For workloads that do not enjoy minimalism, QWINS also offers higher-tier plans with 1 Gbps connectivity and configurations scaling up to 32 vCPUs, 128 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of NVMe storage. All plans come with 1 IPv4 address and a /64 IPv6 subnet.

With Sweden now added to its list of locations, QWINS continues to spread its infrastructure across Europe — quietly, methodically, and without pretending that geography no longer matters.
