Hosting provider NetAngels has announced the launch of a new service — dedicated physical server rentals (Bare Metal). Unlike virtual machines, these servers provide exclusive access to hardware resources without a hypervisor or neighboring workloads quietly competing for CPU time.
Clients receive full control over the system, including root access and the ability to install any operating system. In hosting terms, this usually means one thing: you can configure almost anything — and later spend a thoughtful evening remembering why you configured it that way.
What These Servers Are Designed For
According to NetAngels, the new offering is aimed primarily at resource-intensive projects. These include high-load services that experience traffic spikes and would rather not share infrastructure with other tenants during critical moments.
Dedicated hardware can also be useful for workloads that require specific operating systems or custom network configurations. Another obvious category is GPU-accelerated computing. This includes machine learning training, rendering, engineering simulations, and similar tasks where the graphics card works less like a gaming accessory and more like a mathematical co-processor.
NetAngels notes that servers with NVIDIA GPUs are available within the offering.
Configurations and Deployment Terms
Standard configurations are prepared within 24 hours, while custom builds are typically assembled within the same timeframe. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are offered a seven-day free test period — essentially a chance to get acquainted with the server before it becomes a long-term resident of the infrastructure.
The monthly fee includes network traffic, monitoring, and 24/7 technical support. NetAngels also reports that project migration from another hosting provider is available free of charge, along with consultation from a system administrator.
A configuration tool is already available on the NetAngels website, allowing users to assemble a dedicated server according to their requirements. Processor options include Intel Xeon Scalable chips such as Xeon Gold 6250 and Xeon Gold 6256, as well as several models from the Intel Xeon E5 family.
Configurations may include up to two NVIDIA A4000 GPUs, while storage options cover SAS, SSD, and NVMe drives with capacities of up to 3 TB.
Monthly pricing starts at 7,200 Russian rubles (approximately $79). Discounts of up to 10% apply for longer-term orders.
In other words, NetAngels has added another layer to its infrastructure lineup — for those moments when virtualization stops being convenient and a project simply wants a server that doesn’t share its processor, its memory, or its mood with anyone else.
