Hosting provider mClouds has updated its GPU platform. Dell R7725 servers now run on high-frequency AMD EPYC 9555 processors with clock speeds up to 4.2 GHz. The company is betting on computational power and data exchange speed to meet the demands of clients handling heavy workloads.
Next-Generation Drives, Infrastructure and Guarantees
The main feature of this upgrade lies in the storage system. The servers are equipped with NVMe drives using the new PCIe Gen 5 standard and E3.S form factor. These disks are thinner and more compact than the usual 2.5-inch SSDs. They are designed specifically for high-speed server environments and provide data read speeds of up to 13 GB/s. For modern realities, this is an impressive figure that allows users to forget about delays when transferring large volumes of information.
The equipment is housed in a certified data center in Moscow. The facility holds Uptime Institute Tier III certificates for design, construction, and operational sustainability. The provider also ensures protection against DDoS attacks and guarantees a service availability level (SLA) of at least 99.95%.
Who Needs This
Such a configuration will be useful where every millisecond counts. First and foremost, this applies to running large language models (LLMs) and working with bulky 3D models in CAD/BIM systems. The update will also benefit high-load transactional systems and fast 1C deployments.
The cost of renting such servers starts from 1,949 rubles per month (approximately $24). The provider offers clients the chance to test the new platform capabilities, although the final price may depend on the chosen configuration and additional options.
