Alongside the hike, the provider introduced installment payments through T-Bank's "Dolyami" service, allowing clients to split annual costs into smaller chunks while retaining a 15 percent discount for yearly commitments.
Hardware Costs Keep Climbing
The company pointed to rising component prices as the primary driver. RAM and storage modules have become more expensive and harder to source within standard lead times. The financial pressure extends beyond capacity expansion. Existing servers require spare parts for failed components, routine hardware refreshes, and maintenance reserves. All of these line items now cost more than they did earlier this year.
Serv·Host acknowledged that a second increase within a single calendar year is unwelcome news. The provider framed the decision as a necessary step to sustain infrastructure reliability rather than a margin expansion exercise.
Split Payments as a Buffer
The new installment option targets clients who want the annual discount but cannot commit the full sum upfront. Users select a 12-month billing cycle, receive the 15 percent markdown, and divide the total into scheduled payments via T-Bank (Russia). The server activates immediately for the entire prepaid term.
A grace period runs until October 1. Renewals completed before that date lock in current pricing for the full year. After the deadline, all contracts shift to the revised rate card.
