Hosting provider 4VPS·SU has decided that waiting for a support team response to change an IP address is a relic of the past. The procedure is now fully automated and accessible directly from the user dashboard without operator intervention. Users have various reasons for this migration: from an address accidentally landing on a ridiculous ban list to the need for subnet testing, or simply the aesthetic desire to have specific numbers assigned to their server.
Process Mechanics and Pricing
To change the address, users simply log into the billing panel, locate their current IP, and click the refresh icon. The system will then offer the option to select a desired subnet or a specific address from an available list, after which the changes take effect automatically.
The provider grants clients five free replacements, during which a random address from the user's chosen subnet is assigned. Once this limit is exhausted, or if a client initially wants to manually select a specific IP address, the operation costs 100 RUB (approximately $1). The free limit does not apply to the manual selection of a specific number.
