Hosting provider AdminVPS has announced a price increase for virtual server rentals in its Kazakhstan location. The changes take effect on September 28, 2026, and will affect both the standard tariff lineup and the "Powerful CPU" category. The company cites equipment modernization and improved service stability as the reason. As practice shows, the word "modernization" in corporate press releases always comes with a specific price tag, which ultimately gets attached to the end user's wallet.
The Math of the Price Hike
The price increase ranges from a modest 50 rubles on entry-level configurations to substantial thousands on top-tier plans. The new rates will be applied to the next billing cycle following the specified date.

The silver lining is that the provider's other locations and services remain untouched for now. Clients whose servers are hosted outside of Kazakhstan have no cause for concern. The rest, however, will have to come to terms with the fact that inflation and hardware upgrades wait for no one, and the next hosting invoices will arrive with updated arithmetic.
