HostPro Rolls Out Dedicated Mac mini M6 Servers: Native macOS Located in Poland Without Virtual Crutches

Hosting provider HostPro has has launched a dedicated server rental service based on the Apple Mac mini with the M6 chip. Inside, a 12-core Apple Silicon CPU and GPU work alongside a Neural Engine for hardware-accelerated tasks. The main advantage here is native macOS without a hypervisor layer, guaranteeing full compatibility and remote GUI access exactly as intended in Cupertino.

Who Needs This Beast (Besides Brand Fanatics)

The officially stated use cases look formidable. First, compiling and testing applications for iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS directly within Xcode. Second, 8K video editing and 3D animation, a task that usually requires a small nuclear reactor in the server room, but here is handled by a compact chassis. Third, running machine learning models in TensorFlow or PyTorch, for which the M6's neural engine will prove quite handy.

The servers are physically located in a data center in Poland, providing acceptable latency for users in Eastern Europe.

The base configuration includes 16 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and one dedicated IPv4 address.

The rental cost is 10,810.82 UAH per month (approximately $254 based on an indicative exchange rate of 42.5 UAH per USD as of October 13, 2026). It is simply the price of admission to the Apple ecosystem without the hassle of buying physical hardware and configuring remote access from scratch.
