ELENAHOST Adds Redundant Network Channel and Lowers Power Tariff Prices, While Others Just Watch

Hosting provider ELENAHOST has decided that relying on a single internet channel in modern realities is an unjustified risk. The company has connected a second independent provider with BGP protocol support. While the backup channel is currently in test mode, the plans include a full migration of all subnets to a duplicated scheme. This is the classic engineering way of ensuring that clients' websites stop vanishing from the network simultaneously with a neighbor's backbone cable failure.

The Mathematics of Optimization and Price Reductions

The provider announces the optimization of disk quotas to "real e-commerce standards" (a range of 15 to 150 GB). This measure allowed for a price reduction on the popular Power lineup, while retaining up to 24 GB of RAM and the claimed 20,000 IOPS on U.2 NVMe drives.

Doubling Cores and Tariff Demographics

The Hi-CPU lineup, based on Ryzen 9 7950X processors, has received a substantial upgrade. The base cost per core remains at 230 rubles, but resources are now sold "wholesale" in steps of 2 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM. This offering is aimed at those for whom standard power is no longer sufficient to service bots or scrapers. For micro-scale tasks, a new Hi-CPU 0 tariff with a single core has been introduced for $3 per month.

New clients are promised an automatic 10% discount on their first one-month virtual server order. The system will apply it in the cart independently, sparing the user the undignified search for promo codes in the dark corners of search engines. Meanwhile, existing clients can breathe a sigh of relief: their server parameters and renewal costs remain strictly unchanged. In an industry where hidden degradation of terms upon renewal has become a bad habit, such stability looks almost surreal.
